The way water impacts light is always interesting to me. And how things look out of focus changes how that light is perceived. This is a photo taken from inside my room, through window full of raindrops, focusing on a light fixture. The way the raindrops distort the light in the foreground gives off this weird effect that I really like.
The colors and patterns of various objects inspire me greatly. This shoe, for example, it gives of electrical vibes. I see blue and yellow mixing well together to create this cohesion. Looking at objects help inspire me with making color pallets for art pieces, or designing characters. Clothing and outfits is difficult for me, since I tend to just give everybody hoodies. Just looking around in a store, or just looking at outfits online, really helps with my inspiration.
Early one morning, I was walking down the street to grab some food. I noticed this lamp with a blue plasma color, which stood out harshly compared to the other lamps, which were just a yellow hue. The morning light in this picture also contrasts this lamp with it's pink-like color over the building behind it. I really like this picture, especially since this hue of blue is actually my favorite color.
I tend to make a lot of characters, and silhouettes are very important with making characters recognizable. Here, while these are not characters, you can tell very easily what these silhouettes are. You have trees, power lines, and looking at the floating lights, you can assume the black blobs near the ground are buildings. The colors of the sunset are also a color scheme I love to use a lot, so having pictures of how the clouds affect the lighting is very helpful.
I love blankets and plushies. They are a comfort to me and I usually bring them with me if I have to sleep away from home. The design of the blankets in this photo have to meaning to me, but the plushy pictured is of one of my own characters. I had commissioned someone to make it, just over $50, and i love it to pieces. if you see photos of it when it was just made, you can tell how much i love it because of how worn it looks now.
I like to put logic into my ideas and art. I try not to stray to far into "just because" territory. I like to research mental illnesses, make sure my character is a reasonable representation of them while still being their own thing. in this photo, you see a double rainbow as its still drizzling. I like the logic of it, the light reflecting. How it all works, being able to show that in art can make it more impactfull.
